Crisco Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Crisco is a brand of shortening produced by The J.M. Smucker Company popular in the United States. Introduced in June 1911 by Procter & Gamble, it was the first shortening to be made entirely of vegetable oil (cottonseed). Additional products marketed by Smucker under the Crisco brand include a cooking spray, various olive oils, and other cooking oils, including canola, corn, peanut, olive and sunflower oil.

Liberty mentioned in a review, "I never use Crisco when baking. It leaves a nasty coating in my mouth. Crisco is worse for your body then butter because of the hydrogenated oils. Gross! Every time something is baked with Crisco I can always taste it, which is why I don't like a whole lot of store bought baked goods."
